THE CONFERENCE

Recognised as the premier business conference for Welsh business, the third Financing Growth one-day conference addressed the key challenges faced by a growing business.

Chaired by Peter Sissons and with an outstanding line up of speakers, this year’s event, held again at the Celtic Manor in Newport, exceeded all expectations and provided delegates with an inspirational and informative day. Business owners and managers had the opportunity to gain insight from successful entrepreneurs who have faced similar challenges to their own. From cash-flow problems to personnel recruitment, issues that keep business leaders awake at night were discussed and developed in presentations, an interactive session and two question and answer sessions. Over 20 companies exhibited at the conference, taking advantage of the presence of hundreds of business leaders from across Wales. A buffet lunch and several tea/coffee breaks provided the ideal atmosphere for networking – feedback indicated this atmosphere was a definite highlight of the event, with business leaders looking to make new contacts and remain up to date with the recent business events within Wales.

In the evening, guests were greeted with a champagne reception before making their way to the Caernarfon Suite for the Financing Growth Gala Dinner. Sky Television presenter Adrienne Lawler hosted the evening which celebrated the achievements of the 50 fastest growing companies in Wales. To see a full list of the winners, click here.
